Tahoon - Zaatar Oregano spice blend is vegan food and it is traditionally eaten with extra virgin olive oil and pita bread or any type of bread. 

Tahoon - Zaatar Oregano spice blend uses and recipes; 

Use it as dipping; 

Just add some Zaatar Oregano spice blend into a small bowl and add to it some extra virgin olive oil or any olive oil, then mix it together, then dip small piece pita bread or any type bread into the mix.

Add some Zaatar Oregano spice blend into a small bowl and add some extra virgin olive oil or any olive oil into another small bowl, then start dipping a small piece pita bread or any type bread into the olive oil and then into zaatar oregano blend.

Use it to make Zaatar pizza (Manakish);

To make Zaatar bread pizza (Manakish), just spread some extra virgin olive oil or (any olive oil) on top of fresh pita dough or pizza crust dough or flattened dinner roll dough then sprinkle some Zaatar Oregano spice blend on top and bake it. 

Use it as food flavor;

Sprinkle some the Zaatar Oregano blend spices on sliced fresh vegetables such as; Tomato or Cucumber, etc. it will be hard to resist the savory taste. 

Use it to enhance the your favorite dishes flavor, just sprinkle some Zaatar Oregano spice blend onto your dishes such as; Fresh Vegetable salads, Greek salad, Feta cheese, Labana (Kefir Cheese), Boil eggs, Scramble eggs, Eggs over easy, Grilled zaatar chicken, Grilled zaatar fish, Zaatar roast beef, Pizza and Pasta, etc. and it will be hard to resist the savory taste.

Ingredients: Zaatar Oregano, Sumac, Roasted Sesame Seeds, Sea Salt, Vegetable oil, Citric Acid.

This fragrant spice is used to brighten up dry rubs, spice blends like zaatar, and dressings. Sumac is also commonly used as a garnish, to add a pop of bold color or slight acidity to a dish before serving. 

Citric acid is used both as a natural flavor enhancer and preservative in a variety of foods, such as; dried food, jams and jellies, and canned fruits and vegetables. It's also used in ice cream, fruit drinks, candy, and carbonated beverages. It helps to regulate acidity, functions as an antioxidant and helps retain color.
