How To Make LAMB SHAWARMA Using TAHOON - SHAWARMA MEAT SEASONING;

Shawarma meat is grilled beef shawarma or lamb shawarma or mix of both meats, that is marinated for 24 hours with heavily warmed and flavored meat shawarma mix seasoning, then its grilled and cooked on a long revolving skewer and It is shaved into slices. Then its flavored with Tahini sesame oil and pickles and usually it the beef shawarma is filled on pita bread sandwiches or wrapped in wheat tortilla. Additionally, lamb shawarma can be served with delicious side dishes such as; Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, salads, French fries, white rice and yellow rice.

Grilled lamb shawarma is one of the world's most popular street foods especially in the Middle-East.

Shawarma Meat Seasoning is a mix blend of many spices, and it’s a popular mix spice in the Levant Eastern Mediterranean region, where it is typically used to season and flavor the beef shawarma or lamb shawarma meat. Middle-Eastern food is phenomenal, those of you who have taken the time to explore the various cuisines of the Middle-East will agree.

Lamb Shawarma can be prepared and cooked at home by slicing the meat into small slices and season it with Tahoon – Shawarma Meat Seasoning as recommended below and cook it in a stove-top pan. 

    INGREDIENTS:

    1 lb.       Shoulder Lamb Meat or Front thigh

    1 tbsp.   Olive oil

    ½ tbsp.  Tahoon - Shawarma Meat Seasoning   Add To Cart 🛒

    ¼ tsp.     Salt (As to your preference)

    Definition:

    lb.:      Pound

    tsp.:   Teaspoon

    tbsp.: Tablespoon

    DIRECTIONS:

    STEP 1

    Place the lamb meat on meat cutting board and start slicing it for small narrow slices using sharp knife, slices should be thinner than meat Fajitas cutting - about ¼ (quarter) inch wide and about 3 inches long.

    STEP 2

    Put the slices meat into a bowl and drizzle1 tbsp. olive oil on top and mix well. Then sprinkle ½ (half) tbsp. Tahoon – Shawarma Meat Seasoning or (season as desired) and sprinkle ¼ (quarter) tsp. salt or (to your preference) and mix it all together well and cover it and let it marinate for 10 to 15 minutes.

    Do NOT Refrigerates the seasoned lamb shawarma after marinating.

    STEP 3

    Grab a frying pan and turn the stove up to high heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before adding the slice meat. After the 5 minutes, adjust the heat to low, then add the slice meat and begin to stir the slice meat with spoon until the meat produces a juice. 

    STEP 4

    Cover the pan and keep on low heat until the juice dries. Once its dries, lift the lid and begin to fry it with its own meat grease for about 10 minutes. After that, your lamb shawarma is ready to serve and enjoy!
